In March 2020 during the first lockdown I started a project entitled "The CororanBasementRecordings". I sent musicians with whom I would normally perform solo improvisations and from there I worked on joint improvisations, taking the recordings from solo, duo to trio and quartet improvisations. From June 2020, concerts were again allowed for small audiences and I organized 4 improvisation concerts at Pavilion of Unheard Music, using this method as a starting point. From the audio recordings of each evening I made a compilation / composition of 15 minutes and asked Arnoud Rigter, Jornt Duyx, Jacq Palinckx & Rik van Iersel to make a short film / animation for this compilation / composition based on the live images in combination with their own work and visual ideas to the music.
